SITE EVALUATION

Every site is unique and has strengths and challenges. SunPacific Solar Electric offers a free site visit to accurately evaluate and assess your site's solar potential. Accurate site evaluation is the crucial first step for a successful Solar Electric project. SunPacific Solar uses the latest solar site evaluation tools to determine your potential yearly harvest of the Sun's energy.

We analyze the following factors:

Your property"s orientation.
The most productive Solar Electric arrays face South, Southwest or West. The angle of the sun varies throughout the day thereby affecting the power output of your Solar array. The output from an optimally oriented South facing array will rise from zero in the early morning hours and reach peak output at midday. The output will gradually decrease from the peak into the afternoon and go to zero again at night.

Your property's sun hour potential.
SunPacific Solar' evaluation/design team will analyze various parts of your property that you feel are aesthetically optimum for a Solar array. We evaluate these sites and will recommend others based on our teams extensive design expertise. Our sophisticated Solar site evaluation tools track the Sun's paths for the year and indicate problem shade areas as well as where your overall best potential production will be. We will recommend methods of optimizing your Solar array's output and maximizing your savings.

Your solar arrays' pitch or angle from flat.
The angle that the modules of your array are fixed will affect the arrays' electrical production. The sun's path is higher during the Summer and lower in the Winter.
A greater angle from zero is more productive in the Winter months, a lesser angle in the Summer. A flush mounted array on your roof will generally follow the pitch of your roof- depending upon the angle.

Flat installations are generally discouraged due to decreased production and dirt accumulation (from lack of drainage).
